Cargo traffic jumps 13% at local ports
On February 17th, 2011 the Los Angeles Times reported significant gains in cargo traffic at the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports in the month of January. “…companies are placing their bets now on whether consumers are going to be buying this spring and throughout the rest of the year”, said Art Won, a spokesman for the Port of Long Beach.
