Iris graduated in 2007 from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance.

In 2008 Iris took a position at UBS Financial Services, Inc. working with Marshall Eichenauer Jr. and later that year played a critical role in the formation of Sagent Wealth Management. Over the next five years she would serve as Operations Manager and Chief Compliance Officer. In 2013 she relocated to Michigan where she worked for the next four years at Whirlpool as an Operations Manager in their Creative Services and Photography department. After moving to France in 2018 she left the workforce to devote her attention to raising her two children. In 2021 she rejoined Sagent as its controller, where she works remotely.

Currently, Iris lives in the Haute Savoie region of France, on the border of Switzerland in the foothills of the Alps. She is happy for the opportunity to live in France with her husband and two children and to be immersed in its culture and its natural beauty. In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and running in spartan and obstacle course races.
